Marrying on Maui, Hawaii is easy, simple and hassle-free. No
waiting time, no blood tests, no residency requirements. Both of you must
be at least 18 years of age, bring your photo ID (drivers license or state
ID). If you are 19 years or younger, proof of age by birth certificate might
be requested. In case of prior divorce or separation by death only the dates
are necessary - no documents needed. (A certified copy of documents is needed
in case separation by divorce or death occurred less than 60 days ago).
A marriage license is required to verify the wedding. The license
is issued by a licenser certified by the state of Hawaii (the license form
will ask for name, birthday and birth location of the parents, as well as
the maiden name of the mother). We will coordinate a date for you in the
licenser's office (8-5 Monday through Saturday). Both bride and groom must
be present personally when receiving the license. Cost of the marriage license
is $50, payable directly to the licenser. The license is valid for 30 days
in the State of Hawaii, including day issued.
